I really wanted some. So did the bakery at Place du Sauvage. This Arlesienne had the great idea of preparing babas with Bigourdan Gin, my Original Gin, the one that has been turning heads since its first batch. We put them in glass jars, the Babas that make you gaga.
There are nine of them. Nine perfectly soaked babas to bite into delicately, for a long time, mindfully so that this unique marriage has time to converse with your taste buds without getting loud. If you get a little everywhere, on the edges of your lips or on your fingers, so much the better. Wipe your hands on the tablecloth. With the Baba, anything goes.
Be careful, though. They say you should worship the Babas du Sauvage in moderation. Because the cakey side of this baba can overshadow the Arlesian Gin's ability to make us believe that flamingos aren't the only ones who can fly.
