Italian bitters, red vermouth, and Bigourdan Gin—the London Dry of Arles. Nothing more. The recipe is of Florentine origin and faithful to the intention of its creator, Count Camillo Negroni.
We like it a little sharp, powerful, and charming, served in a whiskey glass. To chill it without watering it down, pour gently over a large ice cube. Squeeze the zest of an organic orange before placing it astride the rim of the glass.
